I have had the absolute worst experience with this pharmacy. Every few months or so, they tell me there is a problem with my insurance. Well, I have changed jobs one time over the last 6 years so why is it my insurance changes randomly? This SERIOUSLY happens every few months and then I have to call them because I randomly do not get my meds that I need to freaking survive. They never call me to tell me that my medications are not coming, I have to call them. I call and typically have to call back several times and they randomly "fix" whatever the issue was. At one point, they told me that I had several insurance entries in my file. I went to one job with Aetna to another with Aetna - maybe at one point, I had a manufacturers coupon to help cover the cost. So, were they randomly entering things into my file and that's why they had issues?

This company should be forced out of business for how bad their service is.

This place is awful. My Doctor has called them numerous times to authorize refills and they still refuse to fill the prescription saying they need authorization. This company is rude an unorganized. I am trying by any means possible to fill our medication somewhere else. Beyond disgusted with this place.

This is the worst ph as racy to deal with. I am always having to call and remind them to mail my medication. I wish my insurance would work with another pharmacy.

As others have stated, stay away from this place. If you are forced into this because of work, brace yourself for the circus that is CVS.

My daughter gets about 5-6 scripts filled a month at cvs and I really like everyone at the pharmacy but considering my experience with this specialty cvs and how unhelpful and un apologetic they were I will be switching to another pharmacy.

CVS Specialty is the worst! I have been called multiple times at that last minute after refilling a med and expecting the shipment to tell me they need an updated prior authorization delaying my delivery leaving me with no medication on hand. They refuse to give me a 90 day supply even though its a nebulized med I've been on for almost twenty years.

They said the best they could do was ship it Monday for Tuesday. At this point I already had my daughter out of school and me out of work and was told I had to do it again sometime next week all the while my daughter isn't getting a med she really needs. I asked to speak to a manager and she was just as un apologetic and unhelpful. I asked why couldn't they overnight it so it would be there first thing in the morning since my daughters dr office is open till noon. After 20 minutes complaining they finally agreed. So I get the tracking information that night and they shipped it for delivery before noon instead of before 9:30 am as UPS offers to save a couple dollars. Guess what time it arrived, 5 minutes before the office closed. So now I can't get her the meds till Monday and another day for her missing school and me not be able to go in the office.

I have never been so frustrated as I am with CVS. They called me to schedule a delivery for my 5 year old daughters meds at her doctors office for Thursday. On Friday we called the doctor to make sure it was delivered and it wasn't so we called CVS. They said the doctor never answered their call and they tried twice. I asked why the didnt call me so I could facilitate them talking to the office and setting up delivery and there response was they didn't answer our call. ( because they were calling the wrong number)

When my company switched to them for prescription coverage they lost my prescription and i was out of one medication for two weeks. Ever time I called them, i got a different story or got transferred multiple times having to explain the problem over again every time.

Further, I randomly get prior authorization requests that take DAYS to clear their authorization department. Because of this pharmacy, I have missed so many doses and have went weeks without my medications.
