Anyone who has ever been to the shop can tell you that it is the number one place to bring your vehicle, whether its late model, antique or specialty. took my 2008 hyundai with only 60,000 miles to them with a small transmission fluid leak. I had previously been to Hyundai service and they told me that they would have to drop the tran ($500) to find the problem and then they might not be able to fix it and I might have to replace the tran ($3700).
Fabulous place, honest, cost less than I thought. Will go back again and highly recommend.
Steve instead tried to fix the problem inexpensively first , before moving on to more expensive. After a few tries (new o-ring/sealant/tightening) the problem was solved ! and he only charged my $70 !!
Fisher Auto Transmission replaced the clutch in my Mini Cooper S after a "specialty" Mini shop did a poor job of installing one. The parts installed by the specialty shop destroyed themselves when the transmission locked up on a downshift. Fisher did a great job of replacing the defective parts and the clutch they installed lasted for the life of the car (from 110k to 210k miles). I found Fisher's staff to be knowledgeable, efficient, and polite. I am about to use their services again.
